1854172481854. Two Antique Currier & Ives lithographs of Ocean Yachts. One is Litho is of the 1854 Clipper Ship "Dreadnought" and the other is the 1867 The Great Ocean Yacht Race between the Henrieta Fleetwing and Vesta. New York: Currier & Ives. These lithograph prints were published by the Currier and Ives publishing house which existed from 1835 to 1907. Lithograph printed in color and finished by hand 1857 and 1887. c.1880. Large folio - image size apox 13.5" x 18". The Dreadnought print includes below the imagethe ship's dimensions and carrying capacity and the Yacht Race print includes details of the results of that race. Both Lithos have minor creasing and some closed tears along blank edges not affecting the beautiful color image. Overall in very good condition and attractive. unknown
