Small closed tear at top edge towards left-hand corner not approaching text old paper remnants to verso from having been previously mounted subsequent toning showing through to recto else a Very Good example.<br /> <br /> Receipt dated Philadelphia May 5 1836 acknowledging business conducted between the coach makers Vandyke & Downing located at S. Tenth Street between Locust and Walnut and a Mr. George Brinton. Brinton purchased a coach harness $75 in exchange for a second hand harness credited $20.
