First edition of this exceedingly scarce catalogue touting the pioneering Streamline powered railway 300 Horsepower Motor Car which a successor to his famed gasoline car run as Union Pacific Railroad’s Motor Car 1. His later designs featured large round portholes evoking Jules Verne and innovative industrial and mechanical designs. The double trouble twin motored McKeen cars were said to have pulled twenty freight cars and the M21 was the first 70-foot car followed by M23 & M24 intended to pull passenger cars hotly supported by E.H. Harriman. McKeen redesigned carburetors transmissions running gear and the compressed air often did not work properly. The inventive genius also produced a special motor coach with Streamline features rounded rear portholes and depressed side door intended to offer highway service between Minneapolis and St. Paul MN with its’ specially designed seats which allowed for greater comfort. Single sheet broadside 8.5 x 11 inches 28 cm; two-color promotional artist's rendering printed on the recto verso blank. In Good condition. A few tiny edge nicks and some edge creasing; light spotting soiling and toning along the edges with light toning to the blank verso.A two-color artist's rendering of "The Revelle" one of three proposed vehicles with the Dale and the Vanagen from the Twentieth Century Motor Car Corp. of Encino California. Founded in 1974 during the energy crisis by Elizabeth "Liz" Carmichael the company promoted the Dale a fuel-efficient three-wheeled two-seater designed by Dale Clifft taking deposits and investment for cars that were never produced. The Revelle and the Vanagen advertised at $2500 and $2850 never advanced beyond renderings like this one. The company collapsed amid fraud charges and Carmichael a transgender woman with a prior criminal history fled with investor funds. The story was the subject of the 2021 HBO docuseries "The Lady and the Dale." Scarce original sales literature for a car that was never built. Twentieth Century Motor Car Corp unknown

Contemporary pinup-type pencil drawings sketched on a few pages. Original owner's name on first page Sidney Hutto of Columbia SC who worked as a driver at Fort Jackson during the war along with his wife's and first child's names. A few other penciled notations on two pages near front. Pages are generally clean with some grubbiness on the first page. Unit Index page has a torn corner no loss of text. One other page is torn and lacks its bottom half appears to be blank areas on both sides without loss of text. Thoroughly illustrated throughout with photographs diagrams and exploded views. 11 pages of Drivers Instructions at front. 298 pages. 11 x 8 inches. A decent copy with a few flaws. The GMC CCKW was a highly successful series of off-road capable 2 12-ton 6 x 6 trucks built in large numbers between 1941 and 1945 for the U.S. Army. These trucks saw heavy service predominantly as cargo trucks in both World War II and the Korean War. The first number states it is 'the first issue . in its new form'. Bound with 'NZ Sports Car Club Bulletin' Volume 3 Number 2 December 1945 to Volume 3 Number 8 December 1947. Octavo seven issues each 16 to 20 pages plus the pictorial wrappers trimmed a little with the front covers slightly cropped; in near-fine condition. The editorial in the first post-war issue in December 1945 suggests there was a hiatus in publication during the war. Provenance: the ownership signature of 'E.J.
