Cover story, 'The Escape That Rocked The Reds', describes the Dalai Lama's dramatic two-week flight from the Red Chinese as he travelled from Lhasa to the sanctuary of northern India. Included is a map of the escape route and three photos. An additional article entitled 'Buddhism - The Dalai Lama's Faith' includes a map showing Buddha's hold on Asia.
