OCLC locates 2 copies at the Arizona Historical Society and Winterthur but not this edition. The contents of this volume include a wonderful illustration titled "Thanksgiving Day in the Olden Time." Other subjects include fabrics and styles where to shop suggested menus for the month housekeeping music book reviews and stories. The periodical was aimed at patrons of the Jordan Marsh Company an upscale department store located in Boston from 1841 until its closure in 1996. The store advertisement located in the rear of the magazine features price lists of store merchandise ranging from Electra Velveteens Cloaks and Mantles the Glove Department Gent's Shirts Ruchings Carpet Department to Pocket Books and Bags.
