Ranging from the grotesque to the bizarre the 49 short stories that comprise this collection were put before children who drew the pictures that illustrate this work. Several of the stories were also revised based on their criticism. Jordan 1851-1931 was the founding president of Stanford University. Frontispiece by Bristow Adams. Octavo. Original red cloth binding with pictorial black yellow and white stamping. The contents are lightly shaken. Mild soiling along the edges. Some general sun fading along the spine; otherwise very good.
