Affascinante viaggio in cui vengono descritti gli usi e costumi di Alessandria e del Cairo, di Gerusalemme e la Terra Santa, Beyrouth e il Libano, Damasco e la Siria, Antiochia, il Monte Casius, la pianura di Isso, Adana, Tarso, Castelorizo, Rodi. Cfr. Benezit,I, p. 806 per "Bartlett (1809-54)" e p. 221 per "Allom (1804-72)". Al ns. esempl. "mancano" le segg. pp.: da 29 a 36 nella I parte; da 61 a 64 nella II parte. Numerose tavv. con fiorit. e alone (più o meno pesante) per lo più marginale. Testo ben conservato.
