Rachel Sela, also known as just Rahel, (1890-1932) is one of the most famous Hebrew language poets and a central figure in Zionism. She emigrated to Palestine to work on a kibbutz and frequently wrote about the physical land and its attraction. The work here is translated by Zalman Shazar, the third president of Israel and member of the First Knesset. He personally knew Rahel (Wikipedia, 2018) . SUBJECTS: Hebrew poetry - Zionism.
