Recorded 3 Feb. 1812 by recorder Charles Kenny. Signed by witnesses George Prise and David Kinehart justice of the peace for Chester County John Hiester Jr. recorder Charles Kenny and Rudolph Stauffer and Beata Stauffer Rudolph's name is in German script while Beata's is not. In Near Fine- Condition: light soiling and discoloration; otherwise clean and bright. An attractive early 19th-century vellum deed. unknown

192024000Brooklyn:: The Albertype Company. VG/NONE. 1920. Softcover. Small booklet measuring about 5 x 7 inches hole-punched and tied in a bow with faded pink ribbon. The cover depicts a campus building festooned in what appears to be ivy and is followed by 16 pages of photo-gravures of campus buildings including the Carnegie Library now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The State Normal School was established in 1891 by the Georgia General Assembly to train Georgians to be teachers in rural areas. In World War II the campus was used by the U. S. Army as a training site. After the war the school was used by women students attending the university. In 1953 the site was purchased by the U. S. Navy as a permanent location for its Supply Corps School. This booklet appears to have been published in the 1920s or thereabouts. Attractive clean with minor signs of wear. ; .
