Much-needed facsimile of a classified document providing a cogent analysis of the U-boat offensive in the Atlantic during WWII. It was written by Hessler (son-in-law to Donitz and wartime commander of U.107) who was given free access to the war diaries and primary sources of the German navy. A standard reference, first published in 1989.
