The Versailles Treaty is deemed here "not a real peace in accordance with President Wilson's fourteen points but a dictated peace or rather a penal sentence which the vanquished were forced to accept". Published the year of the 1936 Olympic Games the introductory information reflects this encouraging tourists to visit the scene of the games and where one can go for winter sports. Also recommended for a traveller's sightseeing tour through the capital is a cemetery in the heart of the city where Horst Wessel a martyr for the Nazi party is buried. Illustrated with 108 maps and plans many dual-spread and thirty-five folding and a large folding road map kept in the rear pocket.
