The bookblock is in good condition without tears the only stains are caused by the staples that are used in the construction of the book there is a small tear in the red linen at the top of the spine. unknown

Internally clean free of foxing markings or inscriptions except for previous owner name in pencil on title page and previous sale price and year in pencil on half title.</p><p>DJ has age related wear with chipping at extremities and closed tears at folds see images.</p><p>A very scarce title with DJ particularly in such condition. Light cracking of hinge inside front cover but still very firm see images.<br />Cover has very small wear at corners and head and tail of spine.<br />Only marking or inscription is name and address of previous owner in pencil on first blank with previous sale price and edition also in pencil. Tiny bookseller label on front pastedown. Not ex library. </p><p>Overall a well preserved copy of an uncommon title.</p> Baedeker
