The book went through four editions in five years with a limited edition facsimile appearing in 1979. The second edition still contains the author's embarrassing confession of an event that occurred when she was being driven around McLaren Vale by a local man. On page 184 she writes 'I regret to say I broke the Seventh Commandment' when she reached up from the seat in her buggy and sampled some almonds growing overhead.
