His trainer called him "Ugly Duckling", but he liked Gendarme's calm, quiet nature and patiently began to train the horse. The true story of how Gendarme learned the ways of a Police Horse. Average wear. Blue boards moderately bumped. Dust jacket well-worn with three inch tear at top of front panel near spine and some smallish chunks missing.
