Suddivise per regioni e per epoche storiche, si trovano in questa colossale opera i rescritti e le decisioni che costituirono l'impianto legislativo della vita comune nel Regno sabaudo. Un esame che dà immediato risalto alle assonanze e dissonanze fra le varie comunità, i tentativi di definire, dopo la legislazione longobarda, un proprio Corpus giuridico su cui fondare il vivere comunitario. Una miniera immensa di notizie e di fatti che creano essi stessi la Storia, con la possibilità di seguire il cammino prima incerto poi sempre più spedito con cui, da un agglomerato di singole istanze di piccoli paesi, si arriva alla definizione di uno Stato unito e forte. Assolutamente poco comune e di difficile reperimento si presenta quest'opera pur con qualche difetto: il primo fascicolo slegato, una traccia di bruciatura (senza mancanza) al margine bianco superiore delle prime 15 carte, inoltre una fastidiosa fioritura della carta che dalle prime pagine va man mano diminuendo, limitandosi già dalla trentesima al solo margine interno bianco, fino a scomparire del tutto, lasciando il volume immacolato per il restante tre quarti. Original manuscript autograph letter signed ALS by Ali Çetinkaya sent to Turkish doctor Ethem Akif Battalgil who was the father of Fahire Battalgil Battalgazi who was the first Turkish zoologist. For Battalgil's brother's death Çetinkaya is conveying his condolences. The letter was written and signed by Ali Çetinkaya but he added his wife and daughter. Dated 11. IV. 1942 Ankara. Ali Çetinkaya also known as "Kel" Ali Bey was an Ottoman-born Turkish army officer and politician who served eight terms in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey including a period in 1939-40 as his country's first Minister of Transport. He was born in Kara Hisâr-i Sâhib present-day Afyonkarahisar in Hüdavendigâr Vilayet as the son of Ahmed Efendi. He studied in the Bursa Military High School Bursa Askerî Idadisi . After graduating from military high school he entered the Ottoman Military Academy Mekteb-i Füsûn-u Harbiyye-i Sâhâne In 1898 he graduated the academy and joined the Ottoman military as a Second Lieutenant Mülâzim-i Sani . During World War I he served for the army in the Caucasus and Galicia fronts. When the Greek forces were landing at Smyrna on May 15 1919 he was a lieutenant colonel and the commander of 172nd Infantry Regiment stationed in the Aegean coastal town of Ayvalik. His regiment was under the command of the 56th Division of Hürrem Bey. Ali played a key role in the first stage of the Greco-Turkish War of 1919-1922 starting with the opening battle. He was briefly able to hold back the advance into the city of Greek occupation forces. His action is considered to mark the first shots fired by regular forces in the 1919-22 Greco-Turkish War although there were earlier confrontations in which irregular militias participated including the battle involving Hasan Tahsin in Izmir as well as actions in Urla and Ödemis. The hill in Ayvalik from where the first shots were fired is now called Ilk Kursun Tepesi First Bullet Hill. Today there is a military rehabilitation center on that hill. After the war Ali Çetinkaya was elected to the Turkish Grand National Assembly for eight successive terms and served until 1942 holding ministerial posts in six different governments including with the formation of a Ministry of Transport becoming Turkey's first Minister of Transport. Ali Çetinkaya is considered a hero in Turkey. Cunda Island of Ayvalik was renamed Alibey Adasi Ali Bey Island after him although the old name remains in common use. <br/> <br/> TBMM Hususi" Letterhead, Dated 11. IV. 1942, Ankara paperback

Were he not leaving for the country he would have presented in person 'Mr. Colt citoyen des Etats-Unis inventeur d'un ingénieux système d'armes à feu à plusieurs coups'. He and his 'cousin Murat Joachim-Napoléon Murat 1767-1815' will be obliged if Colt can be admitted 'aux expériences du sic tir des carabines à tige des chapeurs à pied quand elles auront lieu'. His colleague 'le capitaine Tamissier instructeur du tir à Vincennes' can brief him if necessary. It is his 'désir de faire admirer à un honorable et cordial étranger nos perfectionnemens en matière d'armes portatives'. According to one authority Howze Cooper and Kornhauser 2006 Colt was selling his pistols to the nations of Europe around this time gaining large orders by playing them off against one another at a time of high demand due to strained international relations. 2 September 1849; Paris. unknown

"When the foreign representative was recalled by his government the town meeting was convened at which the Mayor presided. The influence of Gaetani Carusi was not only because of his ownership of the Assembly Rooms for more than four decades but also because of his skill as a musician having been a former U. S. Carusi was an Italian immigrant who left an indelible mark on the development of the American concert band. Carusi's Assembly Rooms functioned as a popular entertainment venue and music hall in early Washington. Carusi's hosted several inaugural balls from the administrations of President John Quincy Adams to President James Buchanan including William Henry Harrison. With a list of the names of the twenty-four managers headed by Van Ness 1769-1846 U. S Representative and Mayor of Washington DC. 1830-1834. An account of the ball was published as "The Complimentary Ball to M. Roux de Rochelle" in the Duff Green's <i>United States Telegraph </i>March 17 1831. Roux de Rochelle was the author of a popular history of the United States <i>États-Unis d'Amérique </i>Paris: 1838.
