L’autore è il conte Ernesto Tambroni Armaroli che fu noto numismatico e politico maceratese ricoprendo anche la carica di Sindaco. Interessantissimo scritto che ricostruisce minuziosamente la storia della costruzione della prima ferrovia da Bologna a Macerata. Importante scritto per la storia del nascente sistema ferroviario italiano. Buon esemplare raro.
