155 pages. Black and white illustrations. "This book is a first attempt to analyse the Paris Agreements and to show the great dangers which they entail for all Germans and all the peoples of Europe. The book was completed at the beginning of January 1955 and does not deal with any of the written and oral secret agreements which form part of the Paris Agreements and which have, so far, been kept secret. This book is intended to be a contribution to the maintenance of peace in Europe and the reunification of Germany." - from Preface. "The main aim of the Paris and London agreements is to rearm German militarism and turn a remilitarised West Germany into a military camp of the imperialist Western Powers. It is noteworthy that every effort has been made to camouflage this decisive fact - the creation of a West German Army." - The opening lines of the book. Unmarked. Average wear. Binding intact. pp. (14), 200. 16 mo. Contemporary French full leather binding, gold spine worn. Marbled endpapers. Small engraved illustrated book plate of V. Charner. Count Autrey is most famous as an author and controversialist. As a young man he was a lieutenant in the regiment in Bourgogne. But he left his regiment in 1745 and retired to his estates, and devoted himself to the struggle of the encyclopedists and to the defense of the Christian religion. In philosophy he followed Diderot and Voltaire. This refutation of a work by Boullanger was intended to establish a firm basis for the ancient beliefs of the Christian religion, such as Noah's flood. **PRICE JUST REDUCED! FR3
