This is a fine hardcover copy in illustrated boards with no wear at all. Completely clean inside and out. Text in French. This is a sale catalog for an auction held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Paris on December 20, 2000. The sale contained several remarkable pieces of fine French furniture, Porcelain de Sevres (8 lots), Porcelain de Paris (8 lots), etc. The furniture, illustrated with color fold-outs, included a Secretaire en Pente attributed to Bernard Van Risenburgh, also a pair of cabinets by E. Levasseur, and a Secretaire, stamped L. Dubois. 309 lots in the sale. All illustrated in color. No prices realized, just price estimates for each lot. 11" high X 8" wide, 160 pages. This book will be securely packed and shipped with tracking.

Barthélemy-Gabriel Rolland (d'Erceville) wurde im April 1794 durch die Guillotine in Paris hingerichtet / Treatise by the French legal scholar Jean-Marie Ricard (1622-1678) on donations during lifetime and wills, as well as a treatise on customary law in the Baillage (Vogtei) Senlis. Contains a very interesting bookplate: "De Messire Barthelemy Gabriel Rolland, Conseiller au Parliment. President a la premiere des Requetes du Palais. 1761" Barthélemy-Gabriel Rolland (d'Erceville) has been executed in April 1794 in Paris. - ACHTUNG!
