This was done shortly after the completion of the redesigning of the grounds of the Parliament Buildings by architects Thomas Scott and Calvert Vaux. <br><br>Wilson Reed Berry 1851-1928 was an American painter. Berry submitted some drawings to the Beldon Atlas Company of Chicago. Hired as a sketch artist Berry traveled for ten years over thirty states and into Canada drawing and painting landscapes and pictures of farms and animals. County Genealogies has a beautifully illustrated title page and pages of decoratively printed genealogical charts. The genealogies have been collected from the Heraldic Visitations manuscripts in the British Museum. In half leather binding with marbled boards. Externally very smart. There are a few marks to the boards and some rubbing to the extremities. Internally firmly bound with generally bright and clean pages with the odd scattered spot throughout.
