Perché Edwin è stato l'ombra di Luciano Pavarotti, e alla sua ombra ha vissuto, giorno per giorno, per quasi tredici anni. Dal 1995 fino alla morte del Maestro nel 2007, il ragazzo del nord del Perù catapultato a ventotto anni nel vortice di una vita stellare e a tutta velocità, è stato assistente personale, segretario, confidente, testimone di mille aneddoti, di un inimitabile modo di vivere. Questo che leggerete è un Pavarotti pubblico e privato, raccontato anche nel suo lato più umano dal suo assistente personale. Forse, il Pavarotti più vero. La spontaneità e generosità, che seppe mantenere in maniera davvero incredibile anche quando la popolarità ne fece un vero e proprio "fenomeno" universale. The signed photo was a premium given to some of Chicago's Lyric Opera "Friends" who donated during the 1982 Operathon. Accompanying the photo is a letter from the Operathon Committee explaining that the autographed photo was a substitute for a promised signed Pavarotti album which was not available because the singer had cancelled his scheduled Chicago performance as he was wont to do.
