Thomas Tegg (1776-1845) was an English bookseller, author, and publisher. He was prolific and had an wonderful feel for the needs of his audience. In forty years (1800-1840) Tegg, published four thousand titles - most of which sold for low prices and reached a vast readership. Feb’09”) on pastedown, overall in VG+ conditions. A nice copy of this classic work on dynamo design with many formulas and practical examples, fully illustrated by diagrams and b/w pictures. This is the original 1908 first edition and not a modern reprint, with an interesting provenance: Thomas Thorne Baker was an English researcher and inventor in the early XX century with interests varying from chemistry to photography and electricity. He pioneered the electrical transmission of photographs, anticipating the facsimile machine.
