It was in 1948 that Kauzmann's classic review of liquid supercooling and glass formation drew attention to temperatures at which entropies and enthalpies of liquid and crystal phases would appear to become equal. The collection of such "Kauzmann temperatures" produced characteristic curves in the temperature-pressure T p plane. Professor Kauzmann was elected a member of the National Academy of Sciences in 1966. Laid-in is a copy of Kauzmann's review of the book. First Printing of the First Edition. Hardcover.
