013754Urbain Bodineau ou Baudineau ou Baudinot (?-1669), docteur en 1628, conseiller et médecin ordinaire du roi, docteur régent de la faculté de Paris, le premier professeur chargé officiellement de la chimie en France (au Jardin des Plantes) en étant le premier titulaire de la première chaire de chimie. Il était donc vraisemblablement aussi apothicaire. Il fait partie des trois docteurs nommés en 1635 comme étant les « docteurs les plus capables », lui comme professeur, les deux autres comme démonstrateurs. Cet angevin était sieur de Mele [Meslay] et fut l'élève favori de Charles Bouvard (1572-1658), premier médecin de Louis XIII. P.S. avec notes autographes, 4 juillet 1641, 1p in-8. Sur parchemin. Reçu pour le paiement de ses gages. Deux notes autographes « pour servir de quittance de douze cents livres . » au recto et au verso du document (5 lignes chacune). S'il signe bien « Bodineau », son nom est parfois orthographié « Baudineau » ou « Baudinot ». La création de cette chaire de chimie signe la différenciation de la chimie et de l'alchimie, même si les deux termes resteront encore synonymes pendant une centaine d'années. [278-2]
