Important book on the subject, scarce in the early editions, with the Introductory Chapter by Dr Rudolf Diesel, profusely illustrated by diagrams, charts and b/w pictures, some in folding plates. Presumably the first book in English devoted to the subject: according to the author, in the Preface, "no book has been published dealing solely with this type of motor".
