Formato cm. 31x21,5. Pagine 195, (6). Rilegatura in piena pergamena coeva con titolo manoscritto al dorso. La legatura si presenta leggermente allentata. Alcune fogli sciolti all’inizio ed alla fine del volume. All’interno lievi bruniture e macchia di umidità al margine inferiore destro di diverse pagine. Fori e tracce di tarlo abbastanza diffuse ma comunque marginali e che non toccano il testo e le illustrazioni. Opera completa. Stato di conservazione complessivamente buono. Rarissima edizione originale di questo trattato di prospettiva, tra i più celebri di ogni tempo, arricchito di numerose e splendide xilografie. Si tratta di un vero e proprio monumento della tipografia del XVI secolo. Marca al frontespizio ed in fine. Al frontespizio è presente la data ’’1569’’, mente al registro compare la data ’’1568’’. Size 31x21,5cm. 195 pages, (6). Coeval full parchment binding with handwritten title on the spine. The binding appears to be slightly loose. There are some loose pages at the beginning and the end of the volume. On the inside there is some minor browning and some humidity spots at the bottom right corner of some pages. Holes and traces of woodworm quite widespread but still marginal and that do not touch the text and illustrations. Complete work. The condition is overall good. It's a very rare original edition of this perspective treaty, one of the most famous of all time, enriched with multiple and splendid xylographies. It's a real monument to the typography of the XVI century. Brand on the title page and at the end. On the title page there is the date ''1569'', while the register shows the date ''1568''.
