Nobleford Monarch can offer one of the best examples. More than in most areas, Nobleford and Monarch carried the imprint of its great pioneer personalities... It would be a tragedy if the accounts or hopes and struggles and triumphs and disappointments of such people and their times were lost; or if the determination and imagination and moral fibre of trailblazers like Charles S. Noble were forgotten." - from Foreward by Dr. Grant MacEwan.
