In one of the Black Panthers' most iconic images Minister of Culture Huey Newton sits in a chair with a shotgun and a spear a pile of spent shotgun cartridges on a zebra skin rug beneath him. The image is credited to Blair Stapp and was composed by Eldridge Cleaver. The full text on the lower left margin reads "'The racist dog policemen must withdraw immediately from our communities cease their wanton murder and brutality and torture of black people or face the wrath of the armed people.' / Huey P.
