Clean lightly scuffed covers and spine; rubbed at fore corners boards just exposed; worn at spine ends with 1/4 inch cloth missing at each end; tightly bound; front hinge has been reglued causing wrinkle in end paper; owner pencil name and date 1872 on front free end paper; title page torn at hinge bottom somewhat fragile; pencil note at head of page 1; clean interior.
