P. Garrison." Ayer 90 as quoted in Graff. Closed tear to fore edge of rear fly and two blank leaves. Foxing throughout a bit musty. Goodhue." and addressed on an integral panel to J. Augustin Smith M.D. Park Place. While no year is noted our research indicates 1847 as likely; Chancellor Kent 1763 - 1847 of NYC prominent jurist and legal scholar was dead by the end of that year and J. Augustin Smith 1782 - 1865 was at this time president of the College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York; he had earlier been President of the College of William & Mary. Note size approx. 4 1/2" x 7"size; paper darkened a bit old fold lines couple of spots at edge and on reverse of sheet; clear legible writing in ink; in very good condition. Manuscript. Not Bound.
