This copy is number 95 and is inscribed to the former owner by an unknown person below the limitation. Dust jacket is a pale apricot color with bold red and black lettering at the front and a monochrome portrait of Gore Vidal at the back. Jacket good only with more moderate wear. Dj spine is sunned and has soiling. Front panel has two closed tears to the bottom edge 1mm and 1.5mm and rear panel has faint scratches and a 1mm closed tear to the top edge. Dust jacket protected in Mylar. Top edge stained in red. Sturdy beige endpapers. Pages toned lightly. Text free of markings. Random House hardcover
