Text outlines the new legal code established following the reconquest of Spain from years of Moorish dominance. Text was written by the Bishop of Huesca Vidal de Canellas for King James I of Aragon and Catalonia. Originally written in Latin this manuscript is a translation into the Navarro-Aragonese vernacular language. The original the only extant copy of this text is in the J. Paul Getty Museum.
