Vidal’s father remarried in 1939 and had two children with his second wife; Valerie was born in 1946. The two remained close throughout their lives. Near fine in a very good dust jacket which was laminated by Vidal. An exceptional association. Dark Green Bright Red is a novel by Gore Vidal concerning a revolution headed by a former military dictator in an unnamed Central American republic.
