Endpapers however are a little marked and moreso blue cloth which still has bright gilt titling to its faded spine. Good unclipped d/j toned and marled to edges moreso to rear. He challenged society norms and expectations in his writings in particular with regards to sexuality and corruption. He also ran for office as a Democrat unsuccessfully twice. His works spanned novels non-fiction plays and screenplays with the most famous of his novels being 'The City and the Pillar' 'Julian' 'Burr' and 'Lincoln'.All complete with a dust wrapper with only 'Myron' being clipped. In the publisher's original full cloth binding with dust wrappers. Externally very smart with just a little minor wear. Dust wrappers are generally in excellent condition with some slight wear to the extremities and the tail of the spine of 'Myron' which is clipped. Internally firmly bound.
