Printed paper wrappers. A folded contemporary manuscript of six holograph pages concerned with the color spectrum orthochromatic photography etc. is laid-in. Front wrapper is creased with a short tear at the spine repaited with clear tape. Léon Vidal 1834-1906 was head of the Association of Musée des Photographies Documentaires which he founded and a professor of photography at the École des Arts Decoratifs.
