A curious anthology without publisher's imprint or copyright notice. The contents are comprised of literary sketches as well as a goodly number of ghost stories and well known tales such as "The Man with the Iron Mask" "The Grey Ghost of the Maelstrom" "Nautical Ghost Story" etc. The whole concludes with a few temperance and anti- snuff anecdotes.
