200777042Marion Massachusetts: Harsh Brutal Cold Productions 2007. Limited to 300 copies. The first demo by the heavy psychedelic rock band Elder featuring three tracks: 1162 Red Sunrise and Black Midnight.

Elder are an ascendant American heavy metal group who take inspiration from progressive rock almost as much as from stoner metal and doom. The band formed in Marion Massachusetts in 2005 behind singer and principal songwriter Nick DiSalvo; bass player Jack Donovan and drummer Matt Cuoto completed the lineup. Their self-titled debut album 2008 was followed by Dead Roots Stirring 2011 released by MeteorCity Records and the breakthrough full-length Lore 2015 which was recently crwoned "Album of the Decade" by The Obelisk. Continuing to incorporate new elements into their sound Elder added guitarist Michael Risberg and new drummer Georg Edert releasing the album Omens 2020 which "answered any speculation about new directions with affirmation: evolution or extinction. Lush intricately interwoven melodies grow and dissolve into spaced-out jams; massive riffs thunder down into a churning sea of psychedelic sounds and unpredictable grooves carry away the listener" Elder website. Now based in Berlin Germany Elder recently opened for Tool on their 2024 North American tour.

Copied on a white cassette tape without markings accompanied by the photomechanically reproduced insert and housed in the original plastic case. Near fine. Harsh Brutal Cold Productions unknown
