This copy is the revised edition 'carefully corrected and amended' by George Fisher in 1677. The binding has contemporary boards with a newer spine with gilt lines and title label. There is some scuffing and wear to the boards. Internally there is a pencil note to the front pastedown endpaper and a loose note at the rear by William Ridler a bookseller in London circa 1877 - 1904. Contents: advert with portrait to verso; title; to the Reader verso of title; Edward Cocker's Proem 2pp; note to the Reader 1677; table of contents; text pp 1-183 with advert at the rear. At the end some of the pages are out of order with the wrong page printed to the verso of a couple of leaves. The page order for continous text is: 182-181-183-un-numbered verso of 182.
