Bellissima cromolitografia dettagliata dei cani Busy- Spaniel Coker, Minnie - Spaniel Coker e Signal - Water Spaniel, inserita nel bellissimo libro illustrato dal pittore O. De Penne e magistralmente descritto da Paul Caillard "Les chiens d'Arret: Gare Anglais, Dresseage, igiene de Chenil". Questo volume è stato pubblicato a Parigi nel 1890 da J. Rothschild e stampato dalla premiata Litografia Lemercier. La stampa di mm 19x27 è applicata editorialmente su di un foglio di mm 350x470, questo venne stampato appositamente riportando un doppio filetto ed in calce la scritta dell’editore e stampatore. Paul Caillard era un prolifico scrittore del XIX secolo che ha eseguito un grande numero di studi scientifici e di storia naturale. Questa opera illustra la storia e le caratteristiche di alcune razze di cani in attività sportive per la caccia di selvaggina da penna. Stampa originale

John Galsworthy (1867-1933), romanziere e drammaturgo inglese; ottenne la fama nel 1907 quando fu pubblicato il romanzo ‘The man of property’, primo del ciclo della celebre ‘The Forsyte Saga’..
