1957000143London: Blandford Press 1957 This branch of cactus and succulent growing is fast becoming universally popular. The cactus collector may well express amazement on first becoming acquainted with some 750 to 1000 flowers ranging from small golden yellow clusters to magnificent 12-inch blooms; yet this is normal on any summer or autumn day in the author's own collection of Stapeliads. Many of these are illustrated in this book. In all there are 100 black and white and 27 coloured photographs taken by the author himself. These give quick and easy recognition of the plants. There are chapters on the successful culture of Stapeliads their mode of growth growing from cuttings and from seed. Those who follow the clear direc tions given can quickly add a wealth of new plants flowers and interest to their own collections and as Edgar Lamb says in his introduction gain "sufficient knowledge to enjoy their growth and flower as much as I do myself". Some sellotape marks on first page. Colour and Black and white pics. ------------------ Orders over $100.00 are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
