1960A52089Vacaville CA: Vaca Valley Raceway. 1960. Stapled wraps. Very Good. This is a trade sized booklet with illustrated covers and a stapled spine. The booklet is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The booklet is in clean bright condition with the exception of a red grease pencil mark over the price on the front cover. The text pages are clean and bright. "This race was the first 100 mile endurance kart race ever held in California" from the booklet " Vaca Valley existed from 1958 to 1972 as one of the first ‘multi-purpose’ race facilities in the US: A road course with an infield oval and its main straight also in use as the local drag strip. After 1972 the racing stopped here partly due to lack of funding and an ever more bumpy road surface as well as the lure of nearby Riverside. Its remains then were left to waste for over 30 years. Only part of its asphalt is still there now in a nameless field." from Esport Racing DE; Pictured 10/31/25 - Happy Halloween! . Vaca Valley Raceway paperback
