One of 50 copie This is a handsome book with the text of the Christmas story written in the calligraphy of Michael Renton who also drew different rococo borders for each page. There are also six miniatures adapted by Renton from a fifteenth centu Dutch Passionale. The whole was printed on dampened Barcham Green Bodleian Repairing paper by George Mackley. There is very light wear to the extremiti of the spine on this fragile binding else a very good copy. Very uncommon this English private press of the 'sixties--which also used the imprint of Th Two Colt Press. unknown books
