Published in a regular first print run as a hardcover original only that sold out shortly after publication. The book remains available in innumerable subsequent printings. The First Edition is now scarce. Presents Richard Dawkins' "The Greatest Show On Earth: The Evidence For Evolution". An accessible and engaging account on a subject that he victoriously celebrates - rather than argues - as indisputable irrefutable fact. He makes a compelling case for Charles Darwin as THE most consequential and influential - therefore the greatest - thinker of our time since at least the late-19th century up to the present. Greater that is than the greatest: Einstein Freud and Marx among a few others. Or they have serious flaws. As such they do not have collectible value. This is surely an accessible and lovely alternative. A rare signed copy thus.
