Sympathique lettre de remerciements suite à un article de Mangin sur les candidatures de la Sorbonne. Il précise un point et mentionne notamment que « le Ministre ne peut se décider à la nomination de M. Blanchard ». On ne trouve pas trace de cette candidature et Hollard fut nommé à Montpellier en 1865. Il n'apprécia pas la ville et revint rapidement à Paris. Peu commun. [301]
