Prima non comune edizione di questo importante testo di fisiologia ed anatomia illustrato da belle tavole più volte ripiegate del noto medico aretino Giovanni Battista Presciani (1754 - 1799). Amico di Giambattista Borsieri conobbe anche Volta e fu a lungo professore a Pavia.
