Prima edizione latina stampata a Ginevra della piu' importante opera di Robert Boyle, fisico e chimico irlandese, sostenitore delle teorie atomistiche (la prima assoluta usci' in inglese a Londra con il titolo "Memoirs for the Natural History of Humane Blood" nel 1683-84, nel 1684 apparve sempre a Londra la prima in latino). Secondo Fulton "it is the most important of Boyle's medical writings and it may be said to mark the beginning of physiological chemistry".

Gli appunti sono in copia dattiloscritta. L'opera era composta da due volumi, siamo purtroppo in possesso solo del secondo volume. All'interno: Organizzazione della materia vivente, fisiologia generale del sistema muscolare, sistema nervoso, Circolazione del sangue, respirazione, nutrizione, Metabolismo energetico ecc... Alcune sottolineature nel testo. In discrete condizioni. Copertina editoriale in discrete condizioni generali con usure ai margini e dorso. Piatto anteriore in parte staccato. Legatura in discrete condizioni con rotture. All'interno le pagine si presentano in ottime condizioni con rare fioriture. The work was made up of two volumes, unfortunately we only have the second volume.
