Marbled endpapers.The first work, by Azam, is presented as a systematic key. The second paper, by Finot, contains a bibliography, detailed descriptions, all the lithographed plates, and a chapter on "Chasse & préparation des orthoptères" with steel engravings of instruments useful in collecting and preserving the specimens. Included in the rear is a third paper, jointly by Azam and Finot, titled "Catalogue des insectes orthoptères observés jusqu'a ce jour dans les départements du Var et des Alpes-Maritimes" (1888). This is signed by Azam on the title page. It was probably privately published too. In all a good, clean set of important papers in a very good binding.
