Good. 97 pages. 35 x 28 cm.Volume I Number I - Quarterly magazine specifically produced for the drug and toiletry market. Large format and profusely illustrated. Compelling articles include Ephedra Congo Medicine and The Medicine Man; with an early article about "Dr. Seuss" and his early illustrating work for The Standard Oil Company of New Jersey. The story goes something like this: After one of Geisel's cartoons that appeared in Judge Magazine mentioned FLIT a common bug spray at the time Geisel signed on with The Standard Oil Company and produced illustrations from May 31 1928 through 1941 which in turn helped him gain notoriety and landed him assignments with Life Liberty and Vanity Fair. Additionally a full two-page center spread color illustrated of Garbo in 1915 and again in 1933. This publication seems to be the first and last published. Covers chipped rubbed and soiled.
