This is a very good hardcover copy with a very good dust jacket with almost no wear. Completely clean inside and out. Text in English and Chinese. This monograph was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Guangzhou Museum of Art from March 10 to May 20, 2005 and then at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum from August 28, 2005 to January 2, 2006. Chao Shao-an (1905- 1998) was one of the important painters in twentieth century China. He was associated with the Lingnan School. Essays by Wang Jian, Zhang Yu, and Ho Fung-lin. Biographical notes.
