Ce livre contient les courts romans " La Frégate Aventurière " suivie de la réédition du roman " l'Îlot du Grand étang ", publié aux éditions Jean de Gigord dans la collection " Le Feu de camp " en 1936. Superbe état général. Très rare édition originale collective.

Dos très légèrement gauchi avec petites fentes, recollées. Plats et intérieur assez frais, malgré une légère trace de pliure verticale au 1er plat et un petit manque de papier au bord des pages 23 à 26. Belles illustrations en noir in texte de Pierre Joubert, alors jeune illustrateur. Il s'agit d'ailleurs du premier roman illustré par Pierre Joubert. Ce livre fait partie des " Romans Scouts " publiés sous la direction d' André Noël et Maurice de Lansaye ( Commissaires au Quartier Général des Scouts de France ). Cette collection qui apparaît en 1933 est la première, en France, à se définir comme collection de " Romans scouts ". Une quinzaine de titre seront publiés avant guerre au format 14 x 20 ou 21,5 cm. Il seront brochés ou cartonnés, avec numérotation au bas du dos. Après guerre, la plupart seront réédités en format réduit avec quelques nouveautés qui renforceront la collection jusqu'en 1955. Rarissime édition originale, en bel état général. Livre très fragile.
