Photos of Volunteer Park Conservatory in Seattle: Gold fish pond tulips and Hydrangeas. One caption that accompanies a few outdoor photos reads "In Forest Park" possibly a park in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area. Other photos show children playing in the snow and two young girls performing gymnastic stretches. Most photos have been removed from the album. The brass bands were an early tradition from the 1865 beginnings of the Salvation Army in East London; in 1947 large brass bands played to great public excitement and continued to accompany church services. It comprises a list of paintings drawings lithographs prints in many areas and rooms of the house from the "Top of Staircase" to "Library" to "Best Bedroom" to "Dining Room" etc. Several items are associated with the Sumner Family: a lithograph of Archbishop Sumner on the Principal Staircase; a "Pastel coloured drawing - Family Group of Mrs. John Bird Sumner four daughters and son by Hastings 1827"; "Water colour drawing - The four Miss Sumners by Geo. Richmond R.A. 1833"; Water colour Portrait of Archbishop Sumner by Geo. Richmond; another water colour drawing of Archbishop Sumner; Water colour drawing by Miss Sumner with initials "M.L.S." Margaret L. The four pages 50-53 have been deleted in pencil and a new version on four pages also paginated 50-53 has been loosely inserted. Duplicated typescript on 85 leaves stapled together. In fair condition aged and worn with minor damp staining at head. 'No. 22' in red ink at head of cover. The play is said to be 'based on fact; on an actual historical situation' and is 'set in Cape Town and London between July 1899 and March 1992'. Aaronson was the author of 23 books on royal subjects. The present title is not to be found on either OCLC WorldCat or on COPAC.
